The Team - Editors

Sandra Adair's career in editing includes feature films, documentaries, PBS specials, television series and digitally animated films. She teamed with documentarian Hector Galan on the award-winning The Hunt for Pancho Villa and Songs of the Homeland. Sandra's most active alliance in Austin has been with director Richard Linklater, for whom she has edited one HBO pilot, a short documentary and eleven feature films including Dazed and Confused, Before Sunrise, and sequel Before Sunset, the animated features Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly, as well as The School of Rock and most recently Linklater's Fast Food Nation.
SANDRA Guardado
Sandra Guardado has worked as a documentary film editor and producer for 11 years. As coordinating producer, Sandra won an Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Research on George Wallace: Settin' the Woods on Fire, which aired on PBS in April 2000. She was editor and co-producer for Last Man Standing on the 2002 Texas elections, which aired on PBS in the spring of 2004. Sandra co-edited Letters from the Other Side, about the impact of Mexican migration on the women who stay behind in Mexico, which aired on PBS in 2006.
Don has worked as an editor and director in Austin for the past 20 years, specializing primarily in documentary. His own documentary films for PBS, Letter From Waco and Nuclear Family, have aired regionally and nationally, and his editing work in films, such as the recent Imax release Ride Around the World, has been seen on television and in theaters worldwide. Don has also been the Editing Area Head in the Radio/Television/Film Department at the University of Texas in Austin, where he is an Assistant Professor, for the past several years.
Ginny Patrick has been with Alpheus since she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 with a degree in Radio Television and Film. While attending UT, she participated in the East Austin Stories, a series of documentary shorts on the culture and history of East Austin. The films have since been displayed on the Internet, shown on KLRU Austin, and in film festivals such as SXSW. As the Alpheus in-house editor and motion graphics artist, she has worked on such projects as Last Best Hope, The Lance Armstrong Foundation's Stories of Impact, and a short film about UT Austin's College of Fine Arts.
Christopher has been in post-production for over eight years. He has worked as an assistant editor on movies and television shows for Warner Independent Features, Paramount, MTV, HGTV, Gold Circle, InDigEnt and most recently, the Fox Searchlight release of Fast Food Nation. He has edited three independent narrative features including Fall to Grace, which has won several awards on the film festival circuit. He recently completed work on the roller derby documentary Hell on Wheels and a music video for Capitol Recording artists Sound Team.
For the past 11 years, Steve Fishman has worked on title design and animation for TV shows on TLC, Discovery, Fox Sports, Warner Brothers, MTV, VH1, Travel Channel, and Fox Network. He has done design and animation work for numerous commercials and promos for clients such as Toyota, Disney Channel, FX Network, Gold's Gym, Hallmark Channel, Woman's Entertainment Network, Disney Home Video, Fox Home Video, Paramount, Macy's, and Nike.
